Infectious Diseases Journal of Pathology (Infect Dis J Pak) to publish articles with content pertaining to the field of infectious diseases and medical microbiology, providing sufficient contribution. The journal is presently being published Quarterly. IDJP is nationally recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), The College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan (CPSP), and the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. It is included in the “Y” category of HEC journals. The articles include new experimental methods of medical importance; new interpretation of existing results or data pertaining to clinical problems and epidemiological work giving substantial scientific information pertaining to fields of microbiology, infectious diseases, public health; with laboratory, clinical, or epidemiological aspects contributing to the diverse body of existing medical literature.

 EDITORIAL FREEDOM

The Chief Editor holds complete responsibility and control over the journal's editorial content. There is no undue influence—directly or indirectly—on the assessment, choice, or editing of specific articles, nor any pressure that could sway editorial decisions.

 EDITORIAL OFFICE

The editorial office has been established at Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Society of Pakistan (MMIDSP) Office A-147, K.B. Arcade, Flat No. B-3, 2nd Floor, Block 13-A, Gulshan -e- Iqbal, Karachi.

 THE EDITORIAL BOARD

The editorial board members are selected based on their expertise in various biomedical science disciplines. Alongside advisors and specialists from the Armed Forces, qualified professionals from the civilian sector and international experts are also included, subject to approval by the senior members of the editorial advisory board.

 EDITORIAL COMMITTEE

The editorial committee consists of Chief Editor, Editor, Associate Editor (s), and Assistant Editor(s) National along with National and International Editorial Board member.  Local members convene monthly to efficiently handle the journal's operations. The committee adheres to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) guidelines, which standardize manuscript submissions for biomedical journals: which can be downloaded from http://www.icmje.org/.
